剧情简介

This documentary focuses on truly understanding the Northern Lights with a new approach to filming using a new digital camera technique mounted on a GPS for time lapse frames of the Aurora. Viewers will see the real colours and motions of the lights as never before seen on television. Computer graphics are also used to illustrate the phenomena of the Aurora from space and in the upper atmosphere as it impacts earth. In addition to state-of-the-art filming, Riddle Of The Polar Sky looks at 21st century people – scientists and citizens – working and living in six months of extended darkness with the exception of the Aurora.
