Here comes the true story of Beny, the little monkey. Captured by hunters and held in captivity in the city of Kinshasa, Beny is rescued by Claudine André. She has dedicated her life to Bonobos, monkeys who share 98% of the human DNA ! Claudine brings Beny back to her sanctuary where she starts him off on a great journey : his way back to the wild life ! Producer Jean-Pierre Bailly (“Loup” and “The Last Trapper”) and director Alain Tixier bring us the true moving story of a young Bonobo’s return to life in the wild. Through this touching documentary, we discover a rare intelligent species that is dangerously threatened. With “Beny, back to the wild”, they take us from the streets of Kinshasa into the deep jungle, in an extraordinary exodus.
