Part of the epic documentary series examining the origins and development of the Holocaust and Nazi Germany's attempt to destroy the European Jewish population. This volume looks at the notorious camps of Dachau and Sachsenhausen, among the first camps established by the Nazi state to carry out its programme of murder. When they were liberated in April 1945, the world got a first glimpse of the depths to which man was capable of sinking.
