剧情简介

In 1979, an archaeologist exploring canyons in the American Southwest stumbled upon several curious wall paintings of rings and circles. The pictographs, as it turned out, had been left by the Anasazi, a tribe of 10th century cliff dwellers who created an amazingly accurate calendar for religious ceremonies and planting crops. "Sky Watchers" reveals how these ancestors of the Pueblo Indians managed to achieve such precision with only the sun and the stars to guide them. And several astronomy students reveal how modern sky watching is motivated by the same primal forces that drove the Anasazi.
