大西洋争夺战将决定第二次世界大战之结果“战争有胜有败，但是我们战斗和维持生存的力量，取决于大西洋控制权争夺战的结果。” 邱吉尔大西洋之役是英国的生存根本之战。从１９３９年到１９４２年，希特勒的潜艇-他称其为“灰狼”- 藉着围剿阻止船只从北美洲运输食物、原料、部队与他们的装备到英国，威胁迫使英国屈服。到了１９４２年，数目不多的德国潜艇已使英国濒临战败边缘- 多达叁万多个商船船员丧生。同盟国只有在掳获德国密码机并发明雷达之后，得以开始发动反击。大西洋“咸水公路”控制权之争的形势因此逆转，85%以上的德国潜艇官兵将会丧失性命。透过目击者的叙述、戏剧化重现与丰富的档案资料，二次大战期间持续最久、战斗最艰苦的战役得以展现在观众眼前。
